Friday Blog Hopping Finds

After sorting through my emails and visiting links to other people’s blog posts, I found several interesting books that I added to my TBR list.

Wanna know what they are? Well, here’s the list.

(P.S. I also added some links to the posts from where I found each one of them so that you can have the option of visiting their posts and blogs.:) )

1. Getting Dirty With The CEO

At first, I thought this was gonna be one of those typical sexual CEO stories that you usually find in books and movies but no… After reading ARR’s review, I’m inclined to believe that this story goes much more deeper than that. It seems to be a lot more realistic, more relatable and relationship-focused.

2. A Darkly Beating Heart

Oddly enough, I have a strange liking for dark, twisted stories and upon reading the synopsis of the book, I only fell in love with it more. Does anyone else feel the same way?

3. No Holding Back

Guys, if you know me, you’d know I’m picky when it comes to LGBT. I usually don’t read books of this genre but the premise sounds totally intriguing and includes a lot of travelling in Europe. Plus I’m eager to meet the author of this book Kate Evangelista ever since learning that she’s a fellow Filipina.

4. The Path to Dawn

Everytime I look at this cover, I just get goosebumps all over my skin. And the synopsis is just as weird and mysterious as its cover!

5. The Unhappy Wife

This book really had a great impression on me. It’s a series of short stories divided into three parts and is based on true marital events.

5. Bitter Sweet Love

I usually don’t read poetry but this book of Michael Faudet’s definitely grabbed my attention.

6. Girl on the Brink

Girl on the Brink: A Novel

Oh my God.. that cover! Plus the genre is YA Romance and Thriller! And so I told myself this was going to be good. But when I got to the excerpt part I found it a little bit lacking, only telling us details about their date when all I wanted was a glimpse into Kieran’s bad side. Still, I’m going to give this book a chance!

7. Junk DNA: A Journey Through the Dark Matter of the Genome

As someone who is studying Biology, this controversial book about junk DNA definitely caught my eye. I think I’ll be able to pick up a few things from this book and then maybe share that knowledge with my other fellow Bio students.

8. Lucian Divine

This book’s cover was recently revealed and I have to say it looks super gorgeous. 😍 And then I got round to reading the blurb and I was shocked to find that the guy’s role is actually a guardian angel – and an alcoholic angel at that! Like seriously? It sounds totally unbelievable but either way, I’m going to read it since it already got me intrigued!

Well I guess that’s everything for now.

Next week, I’m gonna go on another round of blog hopping for new books. You might also want to provide me with links to your post so that I can visit and comment on each one of them. It might take a while to do so once Monday comes again, but you can be sure that I’ll always be online during the weekends.

What about you guys? Anything else you found this week? Tell me down the comments section below!

Hope you all enjoyed this post! 🙂

Cheers!

Hi Jay. So firstly you have to number 5’s and I would love to read No Holding Back and the Girl on the Brink. I know people want to read the girl on the brink and I’m not even going to read the ceo book, those cliche titles put me away from them. Thanks for linking my blog!
